Gator Family Chiropractic provides innovative and skilled care in a comfortable setting. A Gainesville chiropractor with over 19 years experience, Dr. Deborah Hudson employs the latest technology for precise and effective chiropractic treatment.
We treat a variety of medical issues, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, and injuries from slip-and-falls and auto accidents. Other conditions, such as allergies and asthma, may be related to a spinal condition as well. Our patients include all ages, from children to college students to the elderly.
Our friendly staff will happily guide you from initial phone call to your therapy time with Dr. Hudson. We have invested in creating a modern clinic environment that feels like home to help you relax as soon as you arrive.
As a Gainesville chiropractor, we are one of the few in town to offer treatment with the ProAdjuster, a revolutionary computerized therapy tool that delivers chiropractic adjustments with precision and comfort.
The patient sits in a chiropractic chair in the ProAdjuster exam room.
Dr. Hudson uses the ProAdjuster tool (pictured above) to measure the alignment of the bones of the spine, or vertebrae, with the tool’s electronic sensor. Each vertebra is measured with just a soft click. She is looking for places where vertebrae are misaligned, causing pain and interference with the nervous system. These misalignments are called subluxations.
On the computer screen, Dr. Hudson identifies any subluxations. She then uses the ProAdjuster to restore the vertebrae to their normal position. The ProAdjuster does this by precisely shifting each vertebra with a gentle oscillating motion. The patient feels only a slight tapping.
A ProAdjuster session lasts about 10 minutes. The result is a fast, effective realignment of the spine and a comfortable experience for the patient.
Depending on patient preference or medical reason, Dr. Hudson may deliver a traditional manual adjustment in place of using the ProAdjuster.
Pain relief is just the beginning. Our goal is for you to achieve wellness, a maintained healthy lifestyle without pain. Achieving wellness means enjoying a better quality of life. This may also mean breaking free from a dependence on pain medications and anti-depressants.
Wellness care doesn’t involve frequent chiropractic adjustments for the rest of your life. After completing your initial therapy plan, you may come in only once per month, or even once every three months. This light maintenance will keep your spine and nervous system at its peak function through the rigors of everyday life.
True to our name, Gator Family Chiropractic is a family-run practice, and our patients often bring in their family members and children for care. We want to be your partners in building a healthy lifestyle, providing chiropractic therapy only when appropriate.
